Last Thursday, we held the official campaign launch event at The Science Gallery in London.  After a drinks reception, guests listened to an inspirational panel hosted by OE, Liz Hatherley, and including two of our former Bursary Award holders.  We were also joined by Sarah Butterwoth, Director of Schools at the Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation. Our panellists spoke with candidness and poignancy and our Bursary Award holders each told deeply moving stories about how attending KES had changed the trajectory of their lives, and those of their families. As part of the evening, we were delighted to announce that we have got off to a tremendous start in our fundraising and have raised over £2 million. Thank you so much to our whole community for your incredible support.
