By making a gift to our Bursary Fund, you will be supporting talented, local young people who would not otherwise have the means to attend KES. Together, our alumni and supporters are playing a key role in creating opportunities for a number of Bursary Award holders each year. At KES, motivated by our School’s founding principles, we are passionate about providing bursaries to young people who would not otherwise be able to afford the school fee. Bursary Awards reflect who we are: an aspirational, supportive and inclusive school community. We recognise individuals for their ability, hard work and effort, as opposed to their social and economic background or family circumstances.
We currently have 58 Bursary Award holders, and through philanthropy, we hope to increase these numbers over the next few years. Each bursary represents an amazing opportunity to access a leading contemporary education, as well as the huge range of co-curricular opportunities on offer at KES. However, we recognise that providing places is just the beginning. Once a pupil joins us on a bursary, we support them pastorally, ensuring they have everything they need to flourish during their time with us.
Our former Bursary Award holders go on to some fantastic University courses and careers – you can read their stories on this page. As they do, our hope is that the knowledge and character instilled in them at KES will enable them to make a positive difference in the world. By providing a bursary, you will be shaping the next generation of young people and creating countless possibilities for them.
