Bursary Progress |
Earlier this month we were delighted to launch our new Giving Circles. The Giving Circles are designed to recognise and celebrate the incredible generosity of our donors and benefactors, and members were invited to attend the launch event during the School's Senior Spring Concert and join the Head and the soloists for drinks during the interval.
Based upon our founding year, The 1553 Circle celebrates those who contribute £1,553 or more through single gifts, pledges, or cumulative regular giving whilst The William Capon Legacy Circle brings together those who, inspired by our founder's vision, have chosen to include King Edward's in their will. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and supporters, each year we are able to provide life-changing educational opportunities for several local young people through bursary awards.
As a founding member of The 1553 Circle, Neal Parker, Head, spoke passionately about his commitment to King Edward's bursary programme and presented each of the members present with their bespoke membership pin badge.
If you are interested in joining with others to provide life-changing educational opportunities to young people through a one-off or regular donation or would like to remember KIng Edward's in your will, you can read about more by visiting the DONATE page of the KES Alumni Hub. Alternatively you can contact a member of the Devlopment Team by emailing edwardians@kes.school.
