It has been just over 70 years since the Class of 1963 entered King Edward's for their first day of term on 12th September 1956. A close year group, some of whom still meet on a monthly basis, they collectively decided that this year would be a good time to gather a larger group of their cohort for a reunion weekend.

Together they planned a weekend of activities which included a tour of the school and cream tea on the Friday afternoon, watching the School's 1st XV rugby side play Bryanston at Wellington as part of the weekend fixture list, and a formal dinner at a hotel in Southampton on the Saturday evening.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome so many of them and their partners back to KES last week and to hear about their memories of King Edward's.  We look forward to seeing them back here for their 80th anniversary celebrations.
