Peter (Pete) Moy (KES 84–91) passed away in April aged 51 from Multiple Myeloma. Sporty (1st XV rugby), sociable, and fun-loving, he studied architecture at the University of Nottingham and worked in the UK before relocating to Dubai in 2008. He thrived amid unparalleled architectural opportunities, creating immersive, high-impact spaces and specialising in hotel and entertainment development, including projects such as the Dubai Expo 2020 and One&Only resorts worldwide. Pete latterly worked for Kerzner International and the Diriyah Gate Development Authority in Saudi Arabia, balancing global projects with family life in Devon and a love of rugby, skiing, reading, DIY, and BBQ. He adored his wife, Victoria, and their children, Imogen, Monty, and Esme. He leaves a deep and lasting absence.
