Abi Sheppard (KES 11-18) studied Biology at Hertford College, Oxford, after leaving KES. After a year-long spell working for the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre, based in Cambridge, Abi moved to work for WSP in London, taking up a post within their Nature Advisory Team.
We were delighted to welcome her back to KES this week to speak to members of the KES Geography Society about her role. As a Nature Consultant, she works with a wide range of clients, from major landowners, asset managers and utilities companies to local councils, on biodiversity and natural capital strategy, nature finance, TNFD reporting readiness, and BNG strategy. Her talk was an inspiration to our Sixth Formers hoping to work in similar fields. Thank you Abi - it was great to see you.
