Imogen Bhogal née Pierce (KES 03-10) studied engineering at Oxford and subsequently spent 11 years in and around the automotive industry wearing a number of different hats, firstly at Jaguar Land Rover and then at electric bus and van company, Arrival.  Nowadays though, she makes her living through her media presence, notably as co-presenter and chief content officer for YouTube channel 'Fully Charged' and 'The Fully Electric Show'.  The channel has covered a wide range of topics around electric vehicles including electric cars, electric bikes, electric aircraft, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure as well as exploring renewable energy topics including solar power, wind power, UK energy policy, cycling infrastructure, air pollution and air pollution monitoring. Since its conception in 2010, it has amassed over 1.2 million subscribers.  Imogen also hosts the Podcast 'Green Queens' with her friend and co-presenter Abbie Dewhurst, in which the two of them showcase the surprisingly glamorous and unexpected merits of going green.

Members of GeogSoc heard from Imogen this week when she came back to KES to talk to them about sustainability and the challenges surrounding resistance to sustainable living and how we can make the transition to clean energy as easy as possible for everyone. Her talk was an inspiration to all of us.
