Nine OE golfers took to the excellently presented Corhampton Golf Club course last month for the final events of the 2025 OE golfing season; the Wally Kemp cup, the Ray Paull medal, and the Order of Merit cup. The weather held off but the breeze made scoring tricky.  However, three of the players managed to combat the course better than the rest, to contest the three prizes.

In the Ray Paull medal, Hardeep Basi managed to sneak a victory on countback with a one over par score. In the Wally Kemp cup, Keith Sinclair walked away with the wooden spoon on his debut appearance, with Pete Bull finishing in second place.  Victory went to David Creal who took advantage of playing his home course to score 35 points.

Hardeep, David and Pete were all in the contest for the Order of Merit but the overall victory for 2025, upon the counting up of all the points, went to David Creal.

The 2026 programme of events sees the Wally Kemp cup and the Inter-House competition being played at New Forest Golf Course in May and The Triangular event at Corhampton Golf Course on 24th June. The Ray Paull medal will take place in early October 2026, also at Corhampton.
