Laura Misselbrook (KES 94-01) returned to KES just before the end of term to deliver a talk to our Sixth Form Business students. Laura is a brand and corporate communications professional with over 16 years’ experience working across strategic, local and global creative consumer PR campaigns.  Wither her current role as Senior Director (Global Brand and Portfolio Communications) for the LEGO Group, Laura manages teams across the UK and Denmark.  As well as talking about the fun side of the work that she does, such as leading the recent LEGO activation at the Grand Prix, in which F1 drivers raced around the circuit in LEGO built cars and working with Coca Cola at the London 2012 Olympics project, she spoke about the importance of teamwork and collaboration.  She also touched on the merits of working for a company with cultures and values that align with your own and on how to best prepare for interview.  Her insights and advice were invaluable to our Lower Sixth as they move into making important choices regarding their futures post-KES.
